I have bird houses that my dad made and some my father in law made and a couple that my nieces made. Only the bluebird houses get used. Oh and the Eastern Phoebe nesting shelf does too. We have them visit every summer and have their babies. Makes me happy!

Comment: Cindy, it’s 100° here today, but at least at night it goes down to the 70s. Once my SIL was here in august & I was complaining bitterly about the heat. She said, “you don’t know heat until you live in Texas.” She, too, lived near Houston (in Katy.) I always remember that it could be worse! (Altho I also recall savanna in the summer being unbearable; worse than richmond ). Thanks for the postcard!

Ladies & children's ministries is what they do.

I bought a fabulous old floral quilt with one bad spot for just $5 at an antique mall in Charleston WV and can’t bring myself to cut it, thinking instead I should mend it. And thanks for the mention of the #14!!

I love most animals, but my hubby prefers cats. I really miss dogs they are so loyal and seek affection even when they aren't hungry. In contrast to my cats. XD Thanks for sharing.
