glad it arrived safely! At least with plastic you know it's fairly unlikely to fall apart!
I suppose it's a kind of laminating.......
Practice with some bits of carrier bag or something first. You need to use some baking parchment (look near tin foil and greaseproof paper in the supermarket!)
Use a hot iron, no steam. Put your bits of plastic together, make sure both sides are covered with baking parchment and iron it!
The heat melts the plastic together, the baking parchment stops you ruining the iron!
You can put things between bits of plastic....like I did with the coin.
Use clear plastic bags if you want to be able to see inclusions.
