Story Starter #5: Memories

This is a writing prompt swap, the fifth in a series based on writing prompt in the book "Story Starters." See below for author info.

Write a scene or a story using any one of the following prompts:

a) Your character looks in the mirror, grimaces, and remembers the day, 20 years ago, when she was crowned Miss America.

b) Your character remembers his drill sergeant in boot camp from 20 years ago. He would still like to knock his block off. Then, one night, he sees him standing at the bar.

c) Your character remembers the first night her 16-year-old brother crawled into bed with her in the middle of the night.

Send two partners a typed copy of your scene or story.
