Description:

This will be a US/Canada swap only but feel free to do an international if you'd like!

Do you like rubber stamping? Tired of your current rubber stamps? Want more rubber stamp images but don't have the monies to buy new ones? Then this swap is for you!

You will stamp 10 good-sized images on white cardstock. ~~Edited here~~ To make sure that there is plenty of room for the stamps, take an 8.5"x11" white cardstock and cut into four rectangles. Then stamp one image on each of the rectangles that you've cut. Obviously you can adjust if you have larger stamps than that, but wowsa, I haven't seen that many stamps that are that big. ~end the edit~

They should be an assortment of themes...floral, holidays, birthdays etc. for a variety of different new images for everyone.

Please stamp in black ink on white cardstock for versatility. Please make sure they are images that can be colored/inked/chalked, etc. so your swap partner can color them in to match their cards or scrapbook pages.

Maybe send other smaller images for hearts or other small embellishments or ribbons for hearts? Not required, but still fun!

Rating of 4.5 or above and Newbies (with a profile completed) may join! Questionable swappers will be removed from the swap.

I am going to try this swap again. The last one I received was stamped way too close together & were tiny images.

123Poggy123: I hope you get some good ones this time! I tried to make sure that people understood that there should be space around them and that they should be a decent size.

happypup: I thought it was cool, too! You know, since I'm unemployed right now...good way to get something new to work with 'til I go back to work. :) And it doesn't cost practically anything but some cardstock sheets and postage. :)

I was a host of a swap like this. We had a couple of problems. But most people were happy with their images. And I loved the ones I got. I look forward to this swap.

I've been in a couple stamped image swaps, and one of my partners stamped one image per ATC-size white cardstock. I was thrilled with this idea since there was cutting room. Plus, this size was good for me as I love to make ATCs and 4 X 6s. What do you think, KentuckyGirl, should we stamp larger?

KentuckyGirl 01/13/2008 #

I was thinking an 8 1/2 x 11" white cardstock cut into fours would be sufficient, right?

KentuckyGirl 01/13/2008 #

I'm hoping people can "overlook" if they get stamped images that they don't like. Personally, I take it as a challenge to make them work for my style. :D It boosts my creativity I think.

Is it ok to embossed the images after we stamp them as long as they are black? I find it is easier to color them if they are embossed.

macka 01/15/2008 #

oops, I meant emboss the images.

KentuckyGirl 01/18/2008 #

I'd message your partner and see. I'd like embossed ones if mine wanted to emboss. :)
