Everybody remembers those little valentines that we used to trade in elementary school, right? Your Mom bought a box with whatever cartoon you liked, and you made them out for everyone in your class. Sometimes they even had candy in them. This is the same thing. Buy a box of valentines (whatever kind you like), and send one to each person you're assigned to. Don't just sign it, though. Include something to make it special, like some glitter or confetti, stickers, or a tiny gift or candy. You'll have 12 partners for this swap, which I think is a pretty good-sized "class" and chances are the box of cards you buy will be bigger than that anyway. It's been brought to my attention that the tiny envelopes that come with the valentines probably can't be sent in the mail, so just put your card in a bigger envelope. That will make it easier to include a little something extra anyway. I don't know how much of a tradition this is in other countries, but this swap is international. Since this swap is pretty simple, it'll be open to newbies and any swapper without a no-send in the last 3 months. |
