Description:

On the 1st day of Christmas, my swap partner sent to me: awesome Christmas goodies!!! (Queen style!)

The swap is now US only, sorry to anyone who is left out but I didn't think about shipping cost when I originally posted it but now I realize that the International shipping on a box this size could be well over $40-50 so we're doing regional only. Feel free to post your own swap as International with permission of RyeRye

++++++++++++++++

This will be an advent-calendar type swap, with one gift to open everyday from the 13th of December to the 25th to top off the swap on Christmas morning! Your chosen gifts should be a nice balance of handmade and store bought, and show your Christmas spirit to share with your partner. They should be designed around your partner and their Christmas style so exchanging emails will be necessary to get everything just perfect!

Each gift will need to be wrapped (so that the gift can not be seen through the wrapping) nicely, tagged with a number 1-12 (1 for December 13th, and 12 for Christmas Day) to indicate the order you'd like them unwrapped, and placed securely in a box for shipping with a note or card. Minimum spent on gifts/supplies to make gifts should be around $20 (not including shipping).

I don't think I need to make it known in this group, but please take care with your gifts, both purchasing and making them. They should bring absolute Christmas joy your partners and add to their holiday season.

In order to receive your full rating you must: * send 12 gifts (ex - a small set of 4 cookie cutters, not 1 cookie cutter a day for 4 days) * number and tag all of your gifts in Christmas wrap * have all gifts wrapped nicely * send a Christmas card to your partner in your box

+++++++++++++++++++

I will not be able to angel for this swap due to the high-dollar element to this swap, but in the event of an issue I will work my hardest to work something out for you.

Let's all work hard to put together great swaps that we would like to receive in turn.

This is a Christmas swap, so I apologize to anyone who does not celebrate it but if you'd like to do a 12 Days of Chanukkah, or of Kwanza then feel free.

Shipping time is very important so that the package gets to your partner before or on December 13th so that they can have all of their days in order and on time.

Happy swapping and don't hesitate to contact me for info, concerns, or to say hi :) Merry Christmas!

Oh thank you, thank you! I've done this one the past 2 years now and it is always such fun!! :)

Yay! This is my first but I did a Halloween one (13 days though, of course) that another girl hosted and it was so fun to put together. I couldn't think of a better place to host this 12 Days of Xmas swap than in the presence of Queens :P

I signed up for this swap, but may have to drop. The sign-up and send-by dates are REALLY close together, and the send deadline is US Thanksgiving Day (no mail service). Might you be able to extend the deadline so that those of us who are travelling during the holiday week might still be able to participate? Maybe extend the deadline to the next Wednesday?

Thank you so much for considering my request, as I think this is a GREAT swap concept. <3

@BarkleysMommy I had to drop the swap as I did not notice the send by dates and puts me in a huge crunch as well. * frowning* I make the same plea to the coordinator.

I echo what the last 2 comments have requested: could the send by date possibly be puched back to at least November 29 or 30? Since it is now a US only swap that owuld still give packages time to arrive before the 13th, and would allow for a little less stress at Thanksgiving. I'm watching for now and will join for sure if the coordinator would be so gracious as to accomodate!:)

Since the last sentence on this swap suggested to contact for concerns or just to say "hi" - I sent a PM to direct @MadameCupcake to the comments on her swap- finger crossed This group is awesome and I would hate to miss this awesome swap.

Its been a very busy, and difficult few weeks for me and after changing the dates several times I was frustrated. After some thought, the send-by has been pushed to the 30th. I ask that everyone is SUPER vigilant and sends their swaps ON TIME so that partners receive their parcels in time to have all of their days start with a gift. Thx!

Thanks so very much @MadameCupckake ! I'm in, and hopefully in this super awesome group we won't have to worry about late senders:)
