Description:

Create a small journal and write in it what happens on one particular day.

For the Journal get a blank greeting card and add an extra page inside by folding a piece of paper cut a little smaller than the open card, fold it in half and staple, sew, use deco tape or use some other way to attach it to the card. Now there should be 6 blank sides to document your day. Of course you can add more pages if you wish.

At times we all feel our days are boring but they aren’t really, and certainly not to other people. It’s just that the days are different, depending on the stage of life we are at…..the working girl, young mother, working mother, SAH mum, career girl, grandmother etc…all different…all interesting in their own way.

Some suggestions of what to write about:

What you did, where you went

How you felt

What times are important (eg getting up, going to bed)

What you ate, what you wore

Who you spoke to, mail you got

Book you read, TV watched.

Embellish your journal with drawings, stickers, mementos, photos – whatever is your favourite style of creating.

Have fun, appreciate your day and share it with your partner. If members show interest we can repeat this swap on a monthly basis.

1 mini-journal for 1 partner.

This is a great way to try Art Journalling as its a small journal written in one day

I LOVE this idea... I am going to watch until I am all caught up with everything... will there be more of these in other months?!
