Description: | |
Being on a tight budget these days, I've got to curb my swapping a bit. But we all like getting mail! : D Here's the idea: for just £1.44, we can send four envelopes around the UK to brighten our partners' days. A second class stamp is just 36p and will cover anything up to 100g - just make sure it's less than 5mm thick. Make a friendly letter. It can be on letter paper, or on a greetings card, but if you use a greetings card then write on both sides - don't just write a brief 3-sentence greeting. And within the envelope there's space for including some sort flat surprise (a recipe, a bookmark, a note card, a postcard, stickers, etc.) without increasing the postage cost! And, for no additional £, we can decorate our envelopes (handmade ones out of decorative paper, draw on a plain one, color on a plain one, etc.). Really try to cheer your poverty-stricken partner up! Take a look at your partner's profile for ideas on what to send, but if nothing inspires you you can include something that most people like. You can add as many flat surprises as you like, if it fits in the envelope - but the requirement is just one : ) Summary:
No ratings requirement as everyone should be able to afford this! However, I will remove anyone that looks questionable or has been offline for a week or more. If you're concerned about this, send me a PM before the swap closes. You must also have a well-filled-out profile. Please sign up only if you are going to follow through. No one likes flakers : ( I will not be able to angel this swap. -- The original idea came from ArtyBeth3, who hosted the USA version of this swap, the awesome title and also some of the wording, and who has very kindly agreed to let me host a UK version. I'm planning on hosting a Europe version too but a bit later on - and maybe only 2 partners. Europe stamps are 68p but you can only send up to 20g. |
