Draw, Sketch, or Paint. Handmade PC Swap #2 this went well the last time, so let's do it again! This is a nice, simple postcard swap. Either draw, sketch, or paint something (a person, group, place, animal, scene, object, or still life, etc.) on the front and write a nice note on the back. That's it! Please no photograph or collage cards, also while I love Zentangle and doodling, this swap is for drawings of actual (or imagined) things, not abstract designs. Please, take your time and put a little effort into your drawing/painting, there is no need to rush. This is sender's choice, but it would be nice to check out your partner's profile first. You have a week to make and mail your postcard after partners have been assigned. Please send your card naked (stamped, written on, no envelope). Newbies welcome, with a well filled out profile (more than one or two simple paragraphs, people want to know your likes, dislikes, hobbies, wants etc), otherwise it would be nice if you had a 4.5 rating or, higher. I reserve the right to ban anybody who does not meet these requirements. For the newbies: the easiest way to make a handmade postcard is to take an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock (120lb is perfect) and cut it into quarters to make four(4) 4.25 x 5.5 inch cards. You will only need one for this swap, so you can save the others for future swaps! If you want to use a different-weight paper or to make a different-sized card, please make sure it will go through the post; the USPS site for postcard standards is here: https://www.usps.com/send/first-class.htm (click on the 'Rules & Restrictions' tab). International swappers, please check with your local postal service to verify proper postcard sizes and postage, but size restrictions are likely to be similar. As with any swap, please don't forget to write “swap botâ€, the swap name, and your user name somewhere on the card so your partner knows who to rate! |
