Description:

At some point I am going to stop hosting swaps, but now is not the time. I'm bored at work and thought it would be awesome to have ATCs of my favorite board game. I seriously hope I haven't stolen this from someone.

Anyway for the first swap you will make your partner 2 ATCs. 1 for Mediterranean Avenue and 1 for Baltic Avenue. Now there are tons of versions of monopoly out there. It is completely senders choice on whether the ATCs resemble the classic monopoly board or some other version. That being said the cards must have the property name and the price (i.e. Baltic Avenue $60) the rest is up to you.

General ATC rules apply. No flakers!

When you say the "classic" Monopoly board, do you mean the USA version? Or the London one? Sorry if I'm being thick!

PinkZombie 11/11/2011 #

I think she means any version is ok.

PinkZombie 11/11/2011 #

Meaning the themes ones are ok top? For instance liscensed versions based on movies or whatnot?

PinkZombie 11/11/2011 #

too* sorry

In the UK version which is the standard version here in OZ the names are all London streets instead of streets in New Jersey. Baltic=Old Kent road and Meiterranean= Whitechapel Road they rent for both is £ 60 Should we specify that we are using the US board verses the UK board and just translate for Those who aren't sure which square the swap relates too or just do whatever version we are familiar with? (sorry not trying to make it complicated but since it is international a lot of people may be unfamiliar with the US board) Either way count me in I LOVE monopoly. I hope you are planning to do the who board. I would love to have my own ATC board.

I do plan on doing the whole including games pieces. Any version of monopoly is ok. So long as property names and prices are on the ATC. Using a UK board is awesome, I actually would love to get pieces like that. You might want to include a note translating properties if you use a UK board but it won't be required. Really justake sure you put what number the swap is. Hopefully that will keep down the confusion. I hope I answered all questions. Feel free to ask more if I missed something.

@ladylouie awesome, I think a mixed US and UK board would be neat. Super excited about these swaps, I can't wait to play on my own custom board.

Here is a picture of the board USA version - with the swap tracked on it. Host feel free to take this pic and use it. Google images for boards is neat too.

@Laurwren Thanks for the image. As soon as I get back to my computer I will put it up. I'm thrilled that everyone is having a good time with this swap. I cannot wait to start swapping. I'm so excited.

@ladylouie Monopoly ATC is a lovely swap idea but I would not be interested in receiving the US version as the names would mean absolutely nothing to me. I've never heard of Baltic Avenue. So as it's sender's choice I won't sign up.

But I hope everyone else has a great time with this swap!
