In an effort to encourage us all to eat more veggies - and enjoy them! - I thought I'd start this alphabetized vegetable-based recipe swap series. We started out in November with the Artichoke, and I sure got a lot of great recipes from folks. Each swap will feature one type of vegetable, and we will swap recipes that feature or use that vegetable. Recipes that are vegetarian/vegan are preferred, or at least are veg-friendly (like, the original calls for bacon but you can easily leave it out, for example). Please indicate with your recipe whether it is vegan, vegetarian, or veg-friendly. You will get three partners and will send AT LEAST one recipe to each. If you have more, that's great. One is required. It can be your own creation, copied from another source, or even a link to a website. You can send the same one to all partners. If you have a purchasing/storage/preparation/growing tip related to that vegetable, feel free to add that to your email If your partner sends you a recipe, please give them a 5. If they send several, or you really love that recipe, give a heart :) This time around we will move on down the alphabetical vegetable listing to Asparagus! I had originally said I'd set one of these up once a week or so, but work has just been too hectic for me to keep up with that schedule, so these will come along approximately whenever I have time. I'll try to email folks who have been in previous swaps when I put up a new one, to keep you in the loop. This series will be open to newbies and have no minimum rating requirement, because hey, its just an email recipe. Its not like it costs you any money. |
