Description: | |
TThis is the tenth in a series of alphabet zentangles - with a twist. You will be picking zentangle patterns that start with specific alphabet letters. For example, in this tenth swap the requirements are that you use (at least) one pattern that starts with an "T" and (at least) one pattern that starts with a "U". All of the patterns you choose go on one card. Try to create a design using only patterns that start with T and U - but if you need to use other patterns for the beauty of the design that is fine. I don't want to limit creativity -- I want to present a format that might encourage you to try new patterns. There are numerous zentangle websites and most list patterns alphabetically. Zentangle basics are described in detail at Zentangle.com and a nice alphabetical list of patterns is found at TanglePatterns.com Your zentangle can be black and white or colored. The size can be a standard ATC (2.5" x 3.5") OR a standard zentangle square (3.5" x 3.5"). When you sign up for the swap please state in the comment section below which size zentangle you prefer to receive from your partner. Please include a note with your zentangle telling what patterns you picked for the letters. You might say "I used Unyun for the main string" or "I used Tipple to fill in the lower right corner". If it isn't easy to describe please do a simple sketch of the pattern in your note. Don't just list the patterns used -- be sure to ID them either descriptively or with a quick sketch. I'm hoping we all learn a new pattern or two in this swap. Requirements: 1 Zentangle for 1 partner ATC sized OR 3.5 x 3.5" square Must include at least one "T" pattern and at least one "U" pattern -- all on the same card (and a note identifying the required patterns used) Please use appropriately sturdy paper. Rating of 4.9+, no 1s or 3s in the last six months (and then with explanation) Flaking will not be tolerated. If you have any questions or concerns please email me.** |
