There are so many ways to make heart charms that I think a charm bracelet dedicated to this theme would be a wonderful Valentine's gift for yourself or someone dear. In this swap you will make 3 heart charms for 5 different people. They can all be similar or each be different. The size of the charms should be wearable on a bracelet. The shape of the charm does NOT have to be a heart but a heart should be incorporated into the charm somehow. Each charm should have a jump ring attatched so that the charm can be added to a bracelet when received. The heart in your charm does not need to be red but each charm should have some red on it to help tie all the charms together. If your specialty is felting or bead work make those kind of charms.. if you do clay or mixed media that would be fun. Do your best work. Maybe you don't make everything from scratch.. that is ok. Just really put your HEART into each little charm. Think about how lovely this will be when you get all 15 charms back and on your bracelet. Now don't forget to make 3 for yourself as well... so 18 heart charms... It will be beautiful!

This sounds so lovely! I would do this if I really thought I could make charms that would look good on the charm bracelet. I'd love to see the finished bracelets with all those red heart charms on them made by all the different artists!

You don't have to think you can do this I KNOW you can! I have hosted several charm swaps and let me just say when all the charms are on one bracelet it is a wonderful collection of art. There may be one or two charms you favor or even a few that maybe you don't like especially but all together the group makes it a wonderful celebration of unique heART. Please join!

I'm new to the charm/jewelry making craft. Back in 2010 I participated in a Halloween charm swap. It was challenging for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! My bracelet is great....all of the charms I received were so creative and interesting. So far I have 3 sets of charms made for this swap and I just got back from Michael's with more beads to use ;^). There are lots of excellent tutorials on Youtube if you are new to this. Give it a try!!

Awesome! I have never made charms either but this sounded like such a fun project and our host wrote me a sweet message inviting me to join so I decided to do it! I have made some bead jewelry before though and I will be watching some tutorials for charms online! I'll check youtube for sure :)

I'm gonna close my eyes and hit the "join" button. Never done this type of crafting before, so I hope I don't disappoint. It sure sounds like fun though...My brain is ticking.......
