Here's a zine of mine (Staircase Wit #4) I stashed in the wall near coyote graffiti while I was visiting Montreal this summer. When there's no trades, just leave your zines at coffee shops, music stores, anywhere people can see and adopt. It's fun! original hosted by @eveyinorbit Just thought I'd resuscitate this rad zine swap! Up the zines. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// This is a pretty simple and quick swap.
Send your partner a copy of your zine and a handwritten letter. In your letter try and share a bit about how you got into making.reading zines, your favorite titles, tips/advice about zine making, etc. Zines of any topic, size and length are welcome. If you make more than one zine and would like to spoil your partner, by all means go ahead, but you are only required to send one copy of your zine. *Note: no brain spilling or monkey business. Don't flake! Let's have fun spreading our photocopied preoccupations around to others in the zine community... If need be, I'll certainly angel. There's no restrictions on censoring or counter-culture or queer topics. They're your thoughts and no one should have the authority to tell you what you can't or can write. So don't get into a beef with your partner if you dislike their language, story, doodles etc. |
