Description:

If you were walking through fairy tale land and met a character, who would it be? Would the two of you be friends, or would you have differences of opinions?

For this swap you will write your partner a note (using a medium size note card [no minis]), describing your encounter with this character. The note can be funny, scary, serious; whatever you want as long as it is written with care and is meaningful.

You will also include a 32 count altered matchbox based on the character. The inside of the box is senders choice.

Be sure to pack your matchbox in a way that it does not get smashed.

EDITED - I changed the requirements from a letter to a note. This way it won't be quite as time-consuming. If anyone would like to send a letter that is fine.

I know this is a stellar group...and that no one will even think about flaking. But if you are flaked on, I will angel after you rate your partner a 1.

And if you are the flaker, please keep in mind that I am best friends with the Big Bad Wolf and he owes me a favor...just saying.

Just double checking about the inside of the matchbox...

If it's sender's choice, does that mean you have a choice between, say, making it into a permanant shrine, or stuffing it full of little things, or just leaving it quite plain and empty?
Or do you mean that the inside must be decorated and filled, but the theme is sender's choice and could be completely unrelated to the fairy-tale character on which the outside is based?

I vote for a choice between either shrine or stuffed :)

Paige1900 01/ 9/2012 #

Sorry I should have been more detailed. I have never done a shrine before, so I was thinking stuffed. BUT if our beautiful blond bombshell founder, would like to go either or, then I am all for that. I will probably still send mine as stuffed though. That I want to still leave as senders choice.

Just confirming only fairy tales, not children's books/nursery rhymes?

I prefer stuffed matchboxes, though shrines are a bit easier (don't have to find so many things to stuff it).

Yep Fairy tales...Hansel and Gretal, The Red Riding Hood, Snow White And Rose Red etc.

*Just in case anyone is wondering...this is NOT a Disney Swap"
