Hello

I like the idea of a monthly swap!

DJillM 01/17/2012 #

Hopefully if enough are interested I will hold one a month. I do hold ornament swaps twice a year. If your interested I can email the info.

Hi! I'm just Watching for the moment right now because life is a bit crazy. Can anyone give me any ideas for safely packing a single glass ball ornament for shipping? Are there any ornament mailers out there? :^)

DJillM 01/18/2012 #

Hi.. I would wrap it in bubble wrap and use shiping popcorn in the box so it can not bounce around in transit. Iv been doing ornament swaps for years any fragile I wrap up well.

Are "Kits" allowed?

DJillM 01/20/2012 #

If you made the ornament from a kit it is ok .but not unmade.

Is this a one on one swap or a central point swap? I know your others are central point so is this one going to be run like that?

DJillM 01/24/2012 #

This a one on one swap on here. Swap bot doesnt allow centralized swaps.

I finished my snowman last night, I hope whoever gets it likes it. I love snowen and would love a monthly snowman swap.

DJillM 01/25/2012 #

This is my first time hosting on swap bot. I honestly prefer centralized swaps like I hold on my yahoo group. That way everyone who send ornaments in are assured to get the same amount back. The one on one you never know who may not send.

Shannon I was thinking of Gingerbread man/woman for next swap. I love snowmen too. I decorate with them for the holidays.... That way I can leave them up for a few months.

Oh, just found this swap.....I'll have to pass on this round, no time to make 1. Will watch for the next round.

Hi DJillM, I do the same thing... I leave my snowmen up till March or April.... and I love the idea of Gingerbread, my kitchen is in g-men. My item is sent, I hope like Madam likes it.
