Inchies are little pieces of art that are 1" square. Therefore, you have to have an Inchie to make an Inchie Charm. The charms must have one inchie made of something sturdy, then embellished with charm-like items, beads, jewels, curly wires, etc and have a jumpring or loop at the top for attaching to something else. Some materials suitable for these inchies are: watercolor paper, squares of soda can aluminum, sheet copper, polymer clay, chipboard, shrinkydink plastic, friendly plastic, lexan, plastic or wood tiles, etc. If you use anything with a sharp edge, like metal, please fold and crimp or otherwise make it safe and not sharp. We will have 6 partners and make one Inchie Charm for each--this way we get a bunch with less risk of not getting any! It also means you can make 6 nearly identical charms because everyone will only get one of yours, but also 5 others from their other partners, making a nice assortment. Please feel free to ask your partner for any preferences or things he/she might not want, or make them however you like. (I'm thinking matching preferences from their profiles could result in hearts!) No newbies for this swap, sorry--I will make another newbie-friendly swap for inchie charms later. You must have at least a 4.8 rating and zero no sends. Summary: 6 partners, one inchie charm for each. |
