RECEIVE TWO POSTCARDS - one from partner, one from the Youth Center

Ladies and Gentlemen! Dear Swappers!

I currently work as a volunteer in Latvia. Together with a fellow volunteer we decided to give our youngsters in the city´s Youth Open Centre JACis a glimpse of the world and to encourage them to be curious and to learn foreign languages such as English. Now we´d like YOU to help us!

How? Join this swap and:

  • Send TWO postcards, showing your hometown, places of interest or historical or natural landmarks - One to your swap partner and one to the address of the youth centre

JACis Youth Open Center

Kr. Valdemara 21

Rezekne, LV- 4601

Latvia

  • Add a few sentences about your country, your city, the thing on the pc, probably an easy sentence in your native language if it isn´t English…Be creative!

You will recieve TWO postcards in return: One from your partner, One from the kids in our Youth Center. Therefor:

  • Add your OWN ADDRESS on the pc to the Youth Center to get a postcard back. To make extra sure that you receive something from the kids write me a message with your address, too!

Our voluntary services are powered by the European Commission and the UNESCO and we have special funds for activities like this, so we can guarantee that this will be a honest and serious swap and that everyone will receive a postcard in return. We will upload pictures of the children receiving the postcards, so you can actually see that your cards are appreciated.

(And after having read all this you got the impression that you´ve seen this swap before? Well, yes, I got the idea from jj9jj ´s “PCs from Back to School” Swap and I have her permission for starting the swap. But please notice that this is not the same swap and not the same host. )

If you have questions or proposals, please feel free to contact me. I´m glad about your interest.

So: What are you waiting for?
