Ok, here's the deal.... I tend to buy a lot of paper crafting supplies. I can't help it! I might be addicted to fabric, but I buy even MORE papercrafting supplies because they tend to be cheaper than fabric. I buy a package of stuff - say, paper borders - and there are 24 borders. I bring the package home, use maybe 6 or 8 of the borders, then have the rest left over. There's nothing wrong with them - and I'm sure someone would love to use them - it's just that I used some of them and now I'm bored with them. What to do? Let's have a de-stash swap! I have had some bad experiences with the concept of a "stuffed envelope" swap so I want to stay away from that terminology here. We are all adults, we are somewhat responsible - don't send a swap that is going to disappoint your partner! I want each of you to take an envelope that is AT LEAST 6" by 9" and fill it with all sorts of papercrafting supplies that you no longer want - NO JUNK, NO CRAP, NO GARBAGE!
Sender's choice - if you have "don't send me camping themed supplies" on your profile, keep in mind that you might just get a tent or a campfire in this swap. Don't whine about it - just pass it along in the next de-stash swap you join. Wink, wink.... Let me know if you have questions or aren't clear about something. |
