Description:

This Valentine swap is for boys ages 6-teen. I am also hosting a girl one. You will have 2 partners. One envelope each with a valentine and 3-4 flat surprises inside! Valentines can be handmade or store bought. Parents please list your child's name and age either on your profile or in the comment section below. Rating limit is set high, because this is for children and with it being time sensitive for Valentine's Day, it will be hard to be angel without being late. Here are some rules and what to send :)

This must be for a child or teen. Remember to keep everything age appropriate for your partner and realize that a 6 year old may be making your child a valentine. At any age, all valentines are special (so please try not to rate on skill, but more on thought and the love put into it).

You must have at least a 4.8 rating with no recent 1's or 3's. Email me if you feel I should make an exception.

What to send- The requirement is one regular size envelope. Fill it with one valentine-handmade or store bought and 3-4 different flat surprises so it stays inexpensive. You can send more if you want to, but it is not required. You can even decorate the envelope if you like! This is senders choice, but please be age appropriate to the child you are sending to.

Here are just a few ideas for your 3-4 items-

stickers

tattoos

bandaids

trading cards

ATC's

magazine cutouts-profile specific

bookmarks

candy

cards

scrapbooking supplies

Fun Bandz-bracelets that have those fun shapes

a coloring page

photos

sport team cards

stationary

kid/teen coupons

Pokemon/Bakugan cards

flat Lego pieces

gum

or anything else that would be fun and flat-let your creativity flow with lots of ages and kids-there should be lots of variety of ideas out there!

I will check profiles at the end and will ban if you do not meet the requirements. I want to make this a safe swap :) I will angel if needed.

Let's have some valentine fun!!

I have Will that is 4 and Robbie is 15 (type 1 diabetic easy on the candy)

Brad is 15- gum, sour candy, chocolate, double sided deco tape a bit smaller than the envelope you are using that way it fits in envie.

I signed Samuel up for your other Valentine swap and was happy to see the same swap in this group so Brad can get mail.

Brendon is 10 and his likes are on more profile, but especially loves Legos, Lego Ninjago, and Harry Potter.

We don't have legos but want to get Brenden lego stuff. Where can I get some cheap? Where can I find Harry Potter stuff?

Cyndimom 02/ 2/2012 #

Either can be found at Walmart or Target. I think they have cheaper things at Toys r us even and we don't have one in our city, the closest one is an hour and a half away. Thanks for thinking of him :) He has other likes on my profile too-and he likes garbage pail kids cards which are at dollar tree stores and Whatchamacallit candy bars too.

No toys-r-us here either. OMG...they still make garbage pail kid trading cards? I use to have those. I'll look for the candy bar and I hope to find GPK cards. What other trading cards does he like. Dollar Tree have tons. TKS for more ideas!

He likes the ones at Dollar Tree that make fun of foods and such, I think they are called Wacky packages. He has also been looking for How to train your dragon stickers that were at Dollar Tree also. He got the book and 2 packs, but they have been out ever since. Hope this helps, if you want to add ideas about your child that would be great!

It's funny, I had Garbage Pail Kids when I was a kid too ;P

Besides the one above any candy or chocolate is okay. He isn't allergic to anything or a diabetic so no worries there.

art3osb 02/ 4/2012 #

I'm going to look at Dollar Tree today for both cards. I do remember seeing the wacky kids cards there before. I use to work there so I'll ask the boss if they are orderable online if the store doesn't have them. I tryed to find them online but didn't see them but maybe he can find them.

Sending these out today.
