Description:

The last time I did this swap it was a chest of drawers consisting of at least 3 32 count matchboxes on top of one another, but this time lets keep it simple and make a miniature curio cabinet out of a single 32 count matchbox. You can use an existing matchbox or Rachel's handy template to make your own: link. If you make your own, be sure it is sturdy. Package your matchbox well so it will reach its destination intact.

Your matchbox should be decorated on the outside, and can be either stuffed full of curio cabinet-type goodies or you can arrange them more like shrines if you like. The former requires more goodies, the latter requires more work to do.

Ideas for contents (by no means should you feel limited by these, but trying to move away from the usual stickers/brads type things): - Natural artifacts - bones - feathers - dried flowers - sea shells - crystals or other interesting stones - old/foreign/interesting coins/stamps - miniature artworks (like inchies) fitting in with the theme - charms (metal, polymer clay, etc.) or jewelry - tiny bottles, esp. containing something interesting (any of the above or something else). - gears/mechanical bits/keys - whatever you can think of!

Do a really good job here and try to make these little works of art. Try to make it really special. You don't have to cater to your partner's profile since we're all working on the same theme, I'm assuming anyone who joins will like that theme. If you are picky or have other objections (forinstance if you're a strict vegan and wouldn't want to receive bones or feathers or shells) this might not be the best swap for you. If you are from a country with strict customs regulations (Australia, I'm looking at you) please specify these in the swap comments.

Turned into a private swap, but no matter, should still be fun!
