In this swap you will have 1 partner. You will crochet 6 squares and send it to your partner. I will run this same swap in different parts. There will be 8 parts in this series giving you a total of 48 squares if you join in all of the parts. I know it seems like alot but it will be a very nice squared afghan when completed. The squares should be 10 inches. To keep the colors in tune throughout this series I am asking that you do any earth toned colors. Here is a list of some earth tone colors. There are many more but this is a start: *Brass *Khaki *Brown any shade *Chocolate *Copper *Almond *Peach *Wheat *Wood I found a nice site with a picture of each color as well and that is www.squarework.com/notebook/earth you can check them out for help. I will angel this swap in all the series so that way everyone gets a completed set of squares. As for the stitch you can use any stitch you want. Try something new, something you know. The sky is the limit and that is what makes it so great. Any type of washable yarn will be accepted. The yarn you chose will also add character to the finished product. Newbies are welcome as long as they have a completed profile. We all like to know who we are swapping with. Please no no-sends within the last 3 months. If I can help with anything let me know. If you need ideas let me know, anything at all I am here to answer any and all. I have given you 4+ weeks to complete the squares which should be enough time but if you have any trouble let me know. This should be a good swapping experience for everyone! This will be US Only unless we have alot of response I may open it up to an international swap. Part 4 and we are still going. Half way done now. You know you are welcome to send any extras along with your squares dont forget and include something about yourself. |
