This is a little more time consuming. So make sure you have the time for this swap before signing up!! We are going to create a recipe book for our partner of some of our favorite recipes or ones we've found and would like to try ourselves! You will take a notebook - can be a spiral notebook or one like a composition notebook. Our notebooks will have three sections. One for Main Dishes, One for Sides/Appetizers and One for Desserts. Please do not get a small or tiny notebook. Medium to Large Sized is what this needs to be!! To make these three sections you could use thin (but sturdy) cardboard and glue one of the sheets inside to your cardboard...then you can put a little thicker cardboard or thin plastic bit out to the side (like you see on file folders) labeling what section that is. Please make sure on the sheet you glue to the cardboard (or chipboard) that you decorate that and label what section that is for. Do the same thing to the other sections!! We will be decorating the covers nice and neat. The front cover more decorated than the back. This is Sender's choice on the decoration but please do it nice. Don't just slap a sticker on the front and call it done!! Make it something you would be happy to get yourself! We will be putting 10 recipes in for our partner, to start him/her out for each section. So 10 in Main, 10 in Sides, and 10 in Desserts - 30 recipes total. These can be NEATLY hand written or neatly typed and glued. Make sure you include the ingredients list and the directions. You can also include the servings, etc if you wish to do so!! Make sure your directions are clear and easy to follow! I am setting this for USA as this book could get thick and could be a bit heavy to ship internationally. I will also allow Canada to participate too as long as you use the US measuring (cup, tsp, etc) to make it easier. Also Fahrenheit for degrees. You will have a month and a half to work on your recipe books. This is sender's choice on recipes so if you're overly picky or have a ton of allergies this might not be the best swap for you at this time. Although on some recipes you can tweek them to your own likings! This is a sharing of favorites! And who knows you may find a new favorite!! Again, make your book nice! Something you would be proud to receive yourself!! |
