Let’s create Artist Trading Cards inspired by the moon.

This is a 3 for 3 swap. That means you will make 3 artist trading cards and send them to your assigned partner, and someone will make 3 artist trading cards and send them to you. Everyone is welcome. This is an international swap.

ATC is short for Artist Trading Cards. This is a format for artists and creative people to trade their artwork. The rules are simple: 1. These cards should be 2.5 by 3.5 (the size of a baseball card). 2. They are traded but not sold. This is a free exchange of art. Pretty radical actually. 3. Put your contact information on the back of the card. You can also sign, date and title your work. There are web sites and live trading session where folks exchange ATCs. I’d like your opinion for my future swaps. What is the ideal number of ATCs and traders for a swap-bot swap? 3 cards to 1 partner, 2 cards to 3 partners, 3 cards for 2 partners, or some other combination? What is best for you?

For me, it depends on the swap theme. If it is something broad like "vintage" or "children" I like making 3 cards for 3 partners. But if it is a more specific theme or one that I don't have as many materials or ideas for, I like the 3 cards to 1 partner or 2 cards to 2 partners. But, the truth is, if it is an interesting topic to me, I'll do whatever you ask. Thanks.

My favorite is 2 for 2 partners. But I agree that when it's a topic I like playing with, I'll do whatever.

I like 2 cards for 3 partners. Sometimes comming up with three ideas is daunting, and I'll end up with two good cards and one filler. Many of my cards feature hand-carved images, so I tend to do editions of between 6 and 10, sending to three partners means I don't have as many left-overs. Having three partners is nice for variety.

As I am posting from New Zealand the more to one partner the better. I am happy to make 9 to one. I never sign up where I only send 1 to 5. I hope that's a help.

Many thanks to heartsnyou for the wonderful ATCs. I like the one with the swap title stamped onto the front the best, but they are all great.
