50's Memories Tag

The baby boomer decade! It was a transitional decade after the war and is described as the nuclear decade: more babies were born in this decade than any in the 20th century, women stayed home to raise the babies and cleaned, and cooked and were titled a "housewife" rather than a "homemaker".

Ideas are: the t.v. shows of that era, Ozzie and Harriet, Father Knows Best, Leave It To Beaver, I Love Lucy..... The music definitely defined the decade with Elvis being the mover and shaker (literally!) of that time. Don't forget the girl groups and the quartets like the Platters, Little Anthony and the Imperials, as well as Jerry Lee Lewis!

So create a tag (3 x 6) which expresses how you see/saw the 50's. Get creative and use your paper, scissors, glue, stickers, glitter-glue, paints! Go crazy, man!
