Description: | |
This swap is for a somewhat elaborate and unique creation. You will make 1 gothically gorgeous vampire inspired necklace for 1 partner. The necklace must be handmade by you. It does not have to incorporate an image of a vampire but must be related to vampires in some way. Think Victorian gothic styles, Count Orlock, Dracula (Bela Lugosi, Hammer Horror etc ) lockets, cameos, filigree, fangs (with or without dripping blood), coffins, vials of blood, red crystal blood drops, use colours such as dark red, blood red or red & black. The necklace can be made from a combination of beads and chain, different style chains, layers of chains, dangling chains, a mixture of different glass, stone, shell, pearl or shaped beads, nuggets, baubles, rhinestones, charms, even up-cycled vintage necklaces. I'm sure you can think of other ways that look good. What I'm trying to say is DO NOT just hang a pendant on a ball chain or thong. The pendant should be around 2 or 3 inches including any dangly bits. If the pendant does not incorporate an image of a vampire it must have a main focal point that is obviously vampire related e.g. fangs. Check your partners profile for their preferred necklace length and any dislikes so you make something you think your partner will love to wear. Please spend time and effort creating a bloody stunning necklace that your partner will be proud to show off. You do not need to use expensive supplies but make it special. Spoil them with a decadently dark creation. Do not use kiddie-kraft wooden or plastic beads. NO ''Twilight'' allowed. Check out ''vampire jewellery'' or ''vampire necklaces'' on flickr and etsy.com for great handmade inspiration . I will check profiles before assigning partners but as this is a group swap there should not be any problems. Any questions please feel free to ask. |
