Description:

Hello! This is my first time hosting a swap, so please let me know if something is amiss.

For this swap, each participant will create Two ATCS for Two Partners (total of 4 ATCs). The theme is Fruits and Vegetables. You can do one of each, or mix the two up on each ATC.

It can be anything to do with Fruits and Veggies (or Fruits or Veggies)... still life, with faces, in a bowl, a quote, a painting, a sketch, in a design, something funny - whatever strikes your fancy!

EDIT --Please do not just put one sticker on a 2.5x3.5 piece of paper and call it a day or just write something in pen/marker on a piece of paper and that be it. I have been disappointed by receipt of this kind of ATC in the past and want everyone to have an enjoyable experience! Please feel free to add an embellishment if that suits the way you create ATCs.

This swap is international.

I do not want to disqualify anyone, so please follow through if you sign up. Newbies are welcome!

PM me with any questions/concerns.

ATCs are small scale works of art. I know you will design and create with care!
Thanks for joining and have fun!

I was all set to join, but I do digital ATCs. I don't use embellishments :(

Wackystuff: What in the world do you mean you don't use embellishments? Embellishments can be anything that sticks onto an ATC. I looked at your work in your blog etc. and it looks like you do do that. You are into a lot of ATC swaps how do you do them. Explain the difference please as to what digital ATC's are.

I am confused, she states no stickers, however to embellish an ATC why wouldn't you use a sticker? A Sticker, such as what?. I stick a lot of things on my ATC's

do we have to include both fruits AND vegetables? can i make all fruit cards?

Hello, I just signed up on Swap-bot today, and don't have any feedback. May I please still join your swap?

happypup 02/25/2008 #

MisAndree -- yes - please join!

Wackystuff--- please do join. In my explanation I was trying to avoid some ATCs I have received in the past - a lone sticker on an ATC piece of paper, and an ATC with only something written in pen on it --that's it.
Digital work is fine...without an embellishment. I would love to have you join.

Ladysy5 - I was trying to avoid just a lone sticker on a sheet of paper as I have received ATCs like this in the past. I will edit this explanation - hope you join!

happypup 02/25/2008 #

Lolacat - yes - all fruits or all veggies are fine. Glad to have you on board!

OK great, I'll join. I think of embellishments as little doodads pasted on an ATC. When I host a swap I ask folks NOT to use them. LOL. They tend to fall off in the mail, raise the cost of postage because they can be thick, and (in my opinion) rarely add much to the design.
