Description: | |
For this swap, you will be making an egg-shaped chunky book full of decorated Easter eggs. Each egg should be approximately ATC sized, so roughly 2.5" by 3.5", cut to shape. Decorate the egg pages in any way you like - paints, pencils, paper, sponging, stamping, embossing, ribbons, fibres - the world is your oyster (or easter egg). However please try and use as many different techniques as you can, so that each egg is unique! If you need a template, Hobbycraft's website has an egg shape template that you could use. You are not required to make pictures - patterns are fine for this swap, as long as it is significantly more than just pre-printed patterned paper! Each book should have at least 10 pages, however only the front needs to be fully decorated - you may leave the "backs" quite plain as long as they are covered with a pretty patterned paper or similar. A nice idea could be to use the backs for something like a short quote :) Please bind the books at the top of the eggs, using something like a book ring. Rules: No newbies; however as these are quite small and simple compared to most chunky books, I'm willing to let group members who haven't tried chunky books join in. At least a 4.8 rating - this is the same as for chunky page group swaps, for the reason above. No recent no sends. International swap, 1 partner Flakers will not be allowed to join any further group swaps until after they have made good on any swaps outstanding. |
