Description: | |
My dear friends we have all lost something precious to us at some point in our lives, a token, some jewelry or perhaps a toy doll, you remember, right? Well this swap is a chance for you to create something special for your partner to ease the loss of that something precious by sending them an item just as precious that you have made or have discovered in a thrift or antique store or perhaps on Etsy. You never know where lost things may turn up. The item should also have a vintage/Victorian feel (with a bit of the darker touch to it) as we are all here because of a passion for all things Victorian. So please create for your partner 1 very well crafted item (and I cannot stress enough that if you hand make something make sure it is of good quality, something you would sell in an Etsy shop or craft fair) or you may go on a treasure hunt and buy a little item or trinket for them. This is sender's choice I want everyone to feel comfortable in either making or finding that special item, but you may look over your partner's profile to get an idea of what they really love to make it extra meaningful. Ideas for hand crafted items could be Victorian style jewelry, brooches, art doll (smaller sized), diary, etc. Store bought items can be actual vintage, cabinet photos, mourning items, pins, pendants, books, the possibilities are endless. Items should be worth anywhere from $10-$15 as this is going to be a nice swap. I will angel should anyone flake but your partner will have to be rated appropriately before I will angel the swap. Please do not sign up for this swap if you have unexplained 1's or excessive 3's. You must have an average rating of 4.9 or higher please. I know it sounds strict but I will not tolerate flakers in a swap like this. Just for fun in the comments below when you sign up tell us something precious you lost, did you ever find again or do you still hope to? Thank you all for joining and happy finding! |
