This is an international, global swap, open to all who live on this good earth. Newbies welcome. You have 4 swap partners to send a postcard to. Swappers with ratings below 3.5 may be banned unless you contact coordinator and assure you will change. Postcards must be mailed by April 22nd, Earth Day. Be aware that some parts of the globe may not be in Springtime or be aware of Earth Day. We all live on the earth. We can Globalize Earthday! And celebrate the earth Every Day! What might your postcards depict? The Earth, wilderness, trees, rocks, fertile soil, growing plants, flowers, trees, birds, whales, dolphins, wild animals (both cute & ugly ones), clean water, clean air, changing seasons, compost, people living in harmony with nature. Or people NOT living in harmony. (Sometimes more common) Concerns: Global Warming, toxic pollution, organic gardening, planting trees, greeting the sun, corporate greed, saving seeds, solar energy, nuclear energy, too many cars, roadkill, the end of oil, bees, worms, stones, cycles of the moon, recycled paper, urban sprawl, treehugging dirt worshippers, bicycles, living simply, gaia, Mother Earth. What have I forgotten? What are YOUR concerns? How is it where YOU live? If you want some inspiration, look over the 100 plus Ecology & Nature postcards on this website: www.changingworld.com You can make your own postcard, or write a message of love & concern for the earth on the back side. Cards can be made of Recycled Paper or not. And naturally, reading your recipient's profile may give you clues about the kind of postcard your recipient would most enjoy receiving. Have Fun! Celebrate the Earth! |
