I have several holiday magazines from the last year or two and I was just about to toss one in the recycling bin when I realized I could swap it. Others may have similar magazines they don't need anymore. Rather than buying new ones, why don't we swap? The one in my hand is Better Homes & Gardens December 2005 -- so it's got recipes, craft and decorating ideas, gift ideas, etc. How about everyone sends 1 or 2 magazines (let's aim for at least 300 pages total) to one partner. There should be a good variety of ideas/projects/recipes. Ideally, you'll be sending an old magazine (in good condition) that you already have, so this shouldn't cost you anything but postage. If you want to join the swap but don't have old magazines and don't mind buying new ones, you're more than welcome! :) I suggest we keep this a North American swap (Canada, USA, Mexico) to make sure we (a) keep postage low and (b) get the magazines before the holidays. Whaddya think? :) |
