This is your chance to show off the unique and wonderful candies in your area and to check out candies from places you might otherwise never know about. Do you have a great local mom and pop candy shop? Do you make your own wonderful candies? Do you live somewhere with a unique local sweet you'd like to share with other parts of the world? Do you have a patisserie down the street that makes truffles to die for? This is the swap for you! Here are the rules: Rather than set a minimum item requirement, because I know chocolates can be expensive, I'm setting a minimum price. The package you send out must contain at least $10 worth of candy. This insures that you will also receive at least $10 worth. Participants are free to go over this limit should they desire, but please know that your swap partner might not spend more. In the case of homemade candies just try to be fair. Homemade candy isn't cheap, I know. So send what you would charge a friend $10 to make for a party. Shoot me a message with specific questions about that if you have any. Please update your profile with your taste in candy. If you're up for anything say so. If you despise chocolate or marshmallow say so! If you have an affinity for Japanese candies but you can't find them in your local candy shop- say so! This swap is open to newbies, so please pay attention to the send by date of April 2nd and get your package out on time! Swapbot will randomly select a partner for you after march 26th. You'll get an email telling you to fetch the address then! |
