I am not hosting one of these for December. I am just too busy!! (This is a good thing. ☺) So... On to January!

This is sender’s choice for the decoration. You may use any medium that you like. You can even make your own envelope for this one. The minimum size envelope is about 4.0 inches by 6.5 inches. You can always go bigger!

You should include a note inside the envelope that states the name of this swap, your name and your Swap-bot name. You can always write more if you like.

The wonderful mail art pictured above was made by Miss Thundercat. What the picture doesn't show is that the inside of this handmade envelope is a dual language advertisement printed on the brightest orange paper that I have ever seen! Very cool.

So, send one nicely decorated envelope to one partner. And, Voilá - Mail Art!

Oh, don't forget to get the envelopes hand cancelled!

What does hand cancelled mean?

You take it to your post office, and when you ask to have it hand cancelled, they will cancel the stamps with a hand stamp, rather then running it through the machines.

I recognize the cartoon fish on the front of that envelope! I sent it to Miss Thundercat in one of those swaps where you send rubber-stamped images. =smile=

How can I not join again? :) I'm glad the mail art I sent you @hereiam was so well received :) and @Fiwebster you have a good eye! the seahorse on the right is also one I got from you.. i think.. ;) I have been using your stamped images on more of my mail art lately :)

sorry, need to drop out sadly! no time to go to the PO to hand cancel this time :( I might join next time if that requirement changes.
