Description:

This swap will allow you to share a little about your musical taste and creative freedom. This swap is international. This swap can be flat mail or larger.

You will be creating something - be it a lyric journal, comic, art piece - that must require your partner's name (first, full, username - up to you), song title/recording artist that coincide with the letters of that name and lyrics to said songs.

EX: If your partner's name is JON, the first song will need to start with the letter J, the second letter O, the third letter N.

Please do not just write them all out in letter form. This is an exercise in creativity. Also know that you will be rating your partner based on the three requirements, NOT on whether you like what they created.

REQUIREMENTS: You may not have had any unexplained 1's in the last month.

Are full lyrics required or simply special lines? Just thinking that for journal art pages, it would be nice to not be weighted down with 500 lines... :D

It is more or less the full lyrics. However, I realize some songs are repetitive so you are free to cut down on repetitiveness (by only writing once a line that shows up 3 times, or by only including the chorus once).

So, to clarify (sorry :D) -

If I did an art piece, I would need to fit pretty much all the lyrics onto the piece...? Or, could I do a couple of lines of each on the art piece, and then just enclose the complete lyrics separately?

Or, are you thinking that we will need several individual pieces (of whatever we send), one for each letter / lyric?

Oh, I see. Yes, if you're doing an art piece, I say it's okay to take key lyrics out to use, but then also include full lyrics for each song separately (and don't forget to include song name and artist).

What a great idea. I've not done anything like this before so it will be fun.

Thank you for posting such a fun idea, PFK. :) However, I'm going to drop from this one and stick with future lightweight international or package USA swaps. :)

I have a feeling this should have been assigned with less creative freedom, at least in regard to the medium used. I will try to remember this for future swaps; forgive me, I'm new to this.

So I'll let this be known - I plan on doing my piece on nice paper with colorful pens and wrapping the words to the lyrics around. The main letters will be more prominent in the sea of letters.

I generally like some creative freedom so I can understand it both ways. I was just thinking: Postage! Chance of taking forever or getting lost! However, I'll set that aside, think smaller, and join again. Thanks, PFF. (I have no idea why I always try to abbreviate your name as PFK. I guess because of the last "k" sound. Sorry!) :)

Haha, that's ok, I figured you were talking to me.
