Description:

Since we are the Queens of crafting, I thought we should have a little challenge. Let's see what we can make from an ordinary cereal box! We all know what comes inside, but let's find out what's really in a cereal box.

You will take one cereal box, size of your choice, and transform it into something special. It could be a book, or a box, or even a tote bag (tote box?). Here are the guidelines:

  1. You can use no more than two cereal boxes.

  2. Make sure the construction is sturdy. We don't want it to fall apart when it gets to it's receiver.

  3. You must make it a finished piece - paint it, decoupage it, stamp it.....whatever you like.

  4. Add embellishments to make it look nice. The type of embellishment is up to you.

  5. Be sure to include a note to your partner, identifying yourself by name and by swap-bot name. Tell them a little about the process you used to make the item.

I love to recycle, and I hope you do, too. Let's make items that are functional as well as beautiful, items that we can show our friends and impress them with how clever we are!

You must have a rating of 4.8 or better to join this swap. Newbies welcome with a well filled-out profile. I will be checking everyone's profiles.

Let's have some fun with this, and see what unique items we can come up with. Because the items may require a box for shipping, this will be USA only.

I'm so excited about this swap! It's my first CQ swap. I didn't want to join until I thought of what I wanted to make. I can't wait to start making it. Weekend project!
