I thought an I spy series might be fun. So for this swap look through your Postcard stash. Find a few postcards with an FLAG some where. It is not expected to be the main focus of the Postcard. A flag on a ship, or a flag on a building that represents a country or a state will all work. A pirates flag is acceptable as well I can see where this subject of flag can get real technical. I dont want to be like that, but the idea of the I spy swap is that your postcard would have the item somewhere but not nec as the main theme. So that you understand that this is not state flag postcard swap, where the state flag covers the whole front of the card. Pretty easy to spy that. BUT so on to more of the technical stuff: or course you can use a postcard that does have a state card somewhere on the front. For example some cards have the state bird, and the flag all on the front. And another technical point the flag needs to be on the front of the card not the back. Many of of AZ cards have the state flag on the back on the bottom. If you have any questions about flags please post them in the comments. I will come check this swap daily. Please do not write on the front of the card to draw attention to the i spy item. Vintage, retro, touristy, and zazzle are ok. Ad cards, and home made are not allowed, Cards need to be sent Naked, with a stamp. Not in an envelope. Because I think this swap theme might have a limited range of interests, INTERNATIONAL is the way to go. Please you know to write the swap name and your nick name on the postcard right? |
