Description:

The Second (but you can join anytime so don't worry if you missed the first one) in a series of swaps! Over a series of months we'll be creating journal pages and sending them away! (feel free to make one for yourself of your own too). Each month you will be given one or two pages to work on depending on how much time you have. You will receive a page from your swap partner and at the end of the series we'll be binding them together into a book and you'll be able to add your own pages to the book too if you wish.

PAGE REQUIREMENTS

Your page should be no bigger than 6" x 9" (closest to A5 paper size). This size will vary sometimes but it will be as stated in the swap requirement. Some themes may allow interactive parts such as envelopes and tags etc but these also will be stated in each months swap (if the option is there).

PAGE THEME/PROMPT:

Your february challenge will be one/two of these themes: You choose which:

Prompt No 1:

"inspiration and positive achievement"

Prompt No 2:

"Beauty and Grace... "

How you cover your page is up to you. Make sure you write your name "journal swap" and your swap bot username on the back together with a quick note to your partner about your page.

Go with what you feel - not what you think is right/what your partner would like... just let go and have fun.

Tracy, is it appropriate to request a specific prompt to receive? If so, I prefer to receive prompt #2 - "A page about representing Beauty and Grace.

Thanks! Jackie

Hello Jackie - for this swap it is very much about the person who creates the page and the end book is made up of what other people wanted to do. It does specify in the requirements above "Go with what you feel - not what you think is right/what your parnter would like" and I have set it like this because it is very much about what you feel you want to create. Rather than requesting. The choices are there so that you can choose what you would like to create. Because journals are so personal I don't want people to feel they are making a page for someone else - you are creating what you feel... and then sending it off. Was there a specific reason you asked? Obviously we don't want to offend so do send me a message.

Please be aware that the theme of this journal page is not that of Tarot. I have removed the mention of this so as not to offend anyone - it was merely a way of finding a theme as I got a set because of the artwork. (I'm not a reader or anything and just find cards like this a great way to inspire and prompt).
