The international version of this swap is here. Feel free to join both! Did you know that March is Craft Month?!! A couple of years ago, I was in a swap for March is Craft Month but I got flaked on it! Boohoo! Well, I know that won't happen in the ♥♥Craft Love♥♥ group!! I thought being in this group would make a perfect opportunity to try this swap!! The original swap involved making a small item during each week in March so there would be a total of 4 small handmade items to send. You may do that if you wish! I'm going to make this swap a little more flexible. Since some people's ♥♥craft love♥♥ may take more time to make, I think it would be fair to make: 4 small items OR 2 medium items OR 1 big item You have the whole month of March to work on your items! They must be handmade! Some examples of small items: mini paper booklet, simple earrings or pendant, decorated matchbox, address labels, swap cards, carve a small stamp, alter a postcard, crochet/knit small item... Some examples of medium items: more complex earrings/bracelet, necklace/ring, your own zine, decorated stationery (at least 5 notecards or set of writing paper with 5 envies), carved stamp set (3 or more), crochet/knit bigger item like a potholder/coaster set, sew a key fob... Some examples of big items: make a set of jewelry (earrings, bracelet, necklace), crochet/knit a scarf or hat or amigurumi, sew a bag or pouch or apron, make a handmade book, embroider a pillowcase (or anything else), make a junk journal, sew a stuffie... Remember, these are just some examples! If I had more coffee, I could probably think of more! It's sender's choice but please do look at your partner's profile. Don't send something they hate! If you think of more examples to share or question what category something might go in, please leave a comment! Just try to think how much time something takes for you to make. Something relatively quick would be a small item and something that might take you a whole month (of going back and forth working on it) would be a big item! I put embroider a pillowcase in the big items with the notion that you will embroider something more complex, it wouldn't be fair if you just embroider a simple heart! (That would go with the medium items!) Just have fun and get your creative juices flowing! |
