Description:

This swap is a bit of a challenge. At least if you have a cantankerous printer like mine it is. :-)

This swap is open internationally

For this swap you will send one postcard of your choosing with everything typed to one partner. Store bought PCs only on this swap as it adds to the challenge. So, the address and the message should be typed. (In Swap-bot speak: Naked and typed on) Anything that you write on the card should be done by typing. Caveat - Sender may sign or type his or her name. Either a computer printer or a typewriter may be used.

Now for the message – it should contain something that references your partner’s profile. Example: If your partner’s profile mentions enjoying tea then write something like, “I see you are the type that likes tea.” For this reason I am requiring a well filled out profile. Be sure to include your name and the swap name.

So, you type the PC about your partner’s type (profile) and then cast it into the mailbox.

Fine Print:

Please remember that this is sender’s choice on the PC so you cannot rate low just because you do not like the postcard. I will angel after a rating of “1” has been given to the non-sending partner.

This swap is open to new swappers. Please visit the frequently asked questions. Remember that you must have a nicely filled out profile and don’t forget to mark your swap as sent after mailing the postcard.

I do check profiles and I will remove any swappers with unexplained low ratings, recent 1’s, or if the profile is not filled out.

HAVE FUN!

Edit: I will allow printing on labels/stickers that are then attached to the postcard. Also, if you would like to literally cut and paste typed words from a magazine/newpaper/etc that is fine too. :)

Would it be OK to type/print on a sticker and stick that on the card?

Because I think a postcard would look pretty curled after travelling through my printer :)

Pne - I know it is a challenge and yours is a great question!! Hmmm... I am torn on this. One one hand it is pretty easy to run a label page through a printer but on the other hand I don't want to leave out a lot of swappers. I would rather err on the side that is more inclusive so YES, let's allow labels/stickers. I will edit the swap. :)
