US ONLY - SORRY!

Okay, I am one of those people who keep a lot of things because they have some kind of sentimental value or are just nice - and I have always been like that. That means I always end up with a bunch of stuff I don't wanna throw away; but sometimes don't really know WHAT to do with (I am not a scrapbooker and only keep a very weird and sporadic kind of diary). Anyway, ain't mail art kinda great for that? All my paper scraps get a new identity by turning them into a beautiful piece of mail. That's exactly what you're going to do in this swap:

  • Create a mail art envelope with the theme TRAVEL. Use whatever is either related to traveling or what you got while traveling. Everything goes, as long it's still mailable - not a problem if you're crazy for all kinds of paper "souvenirs" like me. :)
  • Inside, write a note (notecard, postcard, letter... sender's choice) about traveling. Tell about where you got the materials used on your envie. Are they related with good or bad memories? Anything special that happened on your trip? Why did you keep all the stuff? If you have no idea where things were from any more, write a general note about traveling: Do you do it a lot? Have you ever made any strange or awesome experience while traveling? ....

That's it. One mail art envie, one note. Make someone's mail day a lil brighter by sending something beautiful. Let the envie go on its very own journey carrying the tale about yours.

Nothing offensive, racist... even tho this should be considered to be normal. Envie size up to you (just keep in mind there are regulations due to size of mail, you can check those online). US only. If anyone wants to host an international version, go ahead. I don't mind.
