Description:

Inspired by the BBC program by the same name-this is a list challenge to keep track of everything you eat and drink for one whole week. For 7 days, we will keep track of our intake by writing down each meal, drink & snack. (If you are in need of cleaning up your diet-this is a good time to save face and do so.)

Many of us are unaware of how lacking or imbalanced our diets can be. This can lead to low energy & immunity, depression, deficiencies and disease. Need a wake up call or reality check? We can do that! This swap is an inspiration for us all to be our own best friend; nourishing and sustaining ourselves in ways that promote a healthy life, body and attitude.

Please share at least 1 healthy, favorite recipe in with your weekly food list submission.

We will have 3 partners that we will be accountable to send a list of our weekly intake to and 1 (or more) recipes.

This is an Int'l, E-Mail swap. No Newbies. Sorry. See the bottom of my profile page for swap participant guideline information. THX!

Check out this cool link What the world eats in a week (scroll down a a few or 3 to see the link-it's a video essay. Very interesting! ENJOY!

Wow, the photo essay was really fascinating! It was interesting to see such a vast variety in the quantity of foods... a little sad too.

I know-isn't that so interesting!? It makes me so grateful for the abundance in my life!

did you notice the ratio of fresh foods of the American and British families compared to the others?

If anyone would like to include any pictures with your journal ask your partner if they would like to receive some too.

Hi - This seems like the perfect starter swap for me. it doesn't sound that difficult to keep up on. Won't you reconsider allowing newbies?

myrrhmaid 04/17/2008 #

No. Sorry. No newbies. See my profile for more swap hostess info. THX!

I sent this out today to all swap participants. I hope everyone received it!

Hi Swap Friends! I'm just sending out a friendly reminder for us to begin keeping tabs on what we eat this week. I have begun my journal and look forward to sharing some recipes. I also wanted to make sure my emails are getting thru to my partners. So if you could reply, (thefruid, suipacha, & pavotrouge) that would let me know we are in communication. If you do not receive from this swap, please check your spam/bulk mail folder. If you are having difficulty reaching a partner by email, don't hesitate to private message them right from the swap-bot site. (You can find your partner's email underneath their name/address in the 'see my partners' link on the swap page). Please remember to use 'BCC'-'blind carbon copy' on all your sending addresses and send to yourself in the 'To:' If you are unclear about this function of emailing you can email me for further instruction. This is a basic swap-bot rule for emailing of all swap participants. I'm here if anyone has any questions or needs anything! Have a great week everybody! Thanks! myrrhmaid (Laura)
