Description:

These are awesome little crafts to do and so much can be done with them too! Teesha Moore is an artist who created these patches and covers her art journals with them. However, I've seen many other projects with them too.

The basic gist of them is to take 2 pieces of fabric and a piece of batting (although I'm sure that felt or something similar would be fine too) and make a tiny quilt with the pieces. You don't have to be able to sew by machine, in fact i'd say 99% of the patches I've seen are handsewn. Also, it actually looks ok if you embroider it through both front and back of the pieces as they most likely will be used to put together another craft. The possibilities are really endless.....

There's a board on pinterest titled Teesha Moore Patches or you can go to craftster.org and search teesha moore for ideas and inspiration. If you have any questions, please ask me. I check the group every day and am always checking into my profile, so I'll answer my messages as soon as I get them.

For this one, we'll have 2 partners and make each partner 2 patches. Since these are small, they're fairly quick to put together. If there's enough interest, I'll make this an ongoing series. We're a good group so I'm sure I won't have to angel, but I can angel this one if need be. That being said, don't join if you can't complete the swap.

Can you give me an idea on size requirements or limitations?

The videos Fabric Journals parts 2 - 4 on Teesha's site have her tutorial on how to do these. I'm not sure I'd do them exactly the same way, but I found them helpful.

The part 1 video shows a whole bunch, but doesn't have any "how to" bits.
