Or you could pretend to be living in the 1600s? Perhaps you are a friend of Anne Boleyn and and you write to your partner, with your hopes and dreams of being recognised by the King and finding fortune for your family.

You could see yourself as an explorer...perhaps discovering new places in Antarctica or Mumbai or Tibet! Write about your adventures!!!
