I do Angel my swaps, but I don't foresee having to with this great group of swappers. :)

Have fun!

Is there limitation on the size of card? I think I have "classic" cards and I am not sure if they qalify for the notecard. The size is around: 10x15 cm.

Ankica 04/13/2013 #

Additional questions: Can Note cards also be Greetings Cards? English is not my native language so I find it hard to find differences...

KarlaKC 04/13/2013 #

@Ankica there is no limitation on the size of card but they should be at least 3"x5" so your approximate 10x15 cm notecards will be fine.

Regarding your second question, these notecards should not be greeting cards, such as Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon, Happy Anniversary, Thank You, etc. I apologize for not making that clear in the description.

These notecards should be blank on the inside. The outside can have a generic greeting like "Hello" or "Hi!", but no occasional greetings (such as birthdays, anniversaries, births, deaths, sickness, etc.)

Thank you for your questions. :)

Thanks. If you have just a bit more time to answer another question. :)

When people open swap related to notecards, do you think it is very often the case that they don't' want occasional greeting cards or is it case by case thing?

Thanks!!

Anicka:

From the group description on the home page:

"Since notecards come packaged with multiple duplicates they are perfect for swapping out. Guidelines are easy... crisp, clean, notecards with their coordinating envelopes. Homemade are often welcome. No religious, birthday, holiday or other special event sentiments, though. Correspondence cards (they are not folded) and matching envelopes are also welcome."

Unless the NTG swap description specifically says that the cards are for a "special event" --- and tells you what event that is --- all swaps in this group are for all occasion, generic cards.

@Ankica I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but I will try to answer. If you are asking if people only create notecard swaps, not greeting card swaps, no, they do sometimes create occasional greeting card swaps. I have created occasional greeting card swaps in the past.

If you are asking if swappers don't want greeting cards, that is probably true that some don't. But some swappers do like greeting cards.

To avoid confusion, when swaps are set up, it should be mentioned whether greeting cards are allowed for the swap or if it is a simple notecard swap. I failed to mention that when I created this swap.

I like greeting cards for occasions. But for this swap, I would want to receive the 5 blank notecards first. :)

I hope I've answered your question, but forgive me if I misunderstood. Ask me again if I didn't understand correctly. :)

Thanks, @TerryF It looks like we were both answering at the same time. :)

Well we both covered different info so no harm done...lol
