Description:

No no...not THAT kind...you bunch of pervs. lol

Naked mail is the art of mailing a gift or work of art in it's natural form...naked! with no packaging, no boxes, mailers, or envelopes.

Got a big rubber ducky? Write a sharpie message, slap a stamp on its butt, and send it on its merry way! You'd be surprised what you can get away with.

Make SURE the stamp is secure on a FLAT surface on the object, (so that it can be easily cancelled at the post office), and that the address is large, and clearly visible. Write in permanent ink or marker, and don't glue or tape any loose objects to your mail. Failure to follow the rules will result in your item being returned! And really...PG items only, people. Don't mail anything you wouldn't show to your granny, or to small children...lol.

I can't angel this one, so only seasoned swappers with ratings of at least 4.9 and well filled out profiles. (I realize accidents happen...and sometimes it's not possible to keep a perfect 5 rating...I'll check profiles for special circumstances, and may make exceptions. :)

Due to the postage costs that can be associated with this type of swap, and the restrictions on international shipping policies, I'm sorry to announce that it will be USA only at this time.

However, if enough international participants express interest in the idea, we can try it at a later date, and see if it will work overseas!

Thanks, and enjoy!

I once mailed a Rubik's Cube naked!

When I lived in Hawaii, we mailed coconuts this way!

I recently sent plastic easter eggs in the mail. You can read about it on my blog if you want to see pics and how I did it.

user2637- do you think people tried to solve it as it went on its way? lol

Gingerlei~ I saw that in galveston, coconuts had a postcard printed across one side- would love to try that!

marpot- that would be so cute to get in your mailbox, how random. :) and pkmccann...I actually haven't mailed anything like this in a long time, not since I moved to texas..but my postal workers suck- so maybe it's time to keep them on their toes lol

Just FYI, when I took my item to the post office the lady was a huge bitch and refused to take it. She said it was too small! I don't wanna say what it was so I don't spoil it for my partner. Well I stuck a ton of stamps on it and dropped it in the blue drop-off box. It's too early to know if it made it yet...

Ugh...ya the post office people sometimes have no sense of humor or imagination...As long as there's enough room for the address to be read by the machine, and the stamp is on a flat surface, it should mail.

also should have mentioned before-- don't send glass! No one wants to slice their arm open reaching into the mailbox...lol
