Description:

These books turn out so beautiful! They are simply envelopes bound together to create the pages of a book. There are so many different ways to create them, it's up to you to choose the best way for you. Here is a website I used:

http://www.marthastewart.com/266388/envelope-books

Lots of sites give instructions to bind your envelopes with book binding tape (something I have yet to be able to find in person, only over the internet). I just used decorative shipping tape and it worked well. I received an envelope book bound with washi tape. It was very cute but for whatever reason, it didn't stay together. If you are going to use it, make sure it is going to hold up.

So here are the basics for this swap:

  1. 12 envelopes must be decorated then bound together. (decorated meaning put some thought into it and make them interesting to look at. Don't just put one cutout on a blank envelope and call it a day) Make it something you would want to recieve. Draw on it, zentangle it, paint it, cut out magazine pictures whatever you want..

  2. Make some kind of cover for the book, like cardboard or something else that is sturdy.

  3. Destash your supplies into the envelopes. Put a small trinket, papers, embellishment, etc into each envelope for your partner.

  4. Look at your partner's profile to see what they like. Keep their favorites in mind when creating your book.

1 book for 1 partner Ratings must be at least a 4.9 with no unexplained 1 or 3's. This is a time consuming project so I am giving a month for completion.

If you have any questions please don't be afraid to send me a message and ask.
