Description: | |
April is National Poetry Month. For this swap you get to choose what you'd like to do! There are three swap options: Option #1: Send a note or letter letting two partners know who your favorite poets are and why you like them. Your envelope should contain at least two poems by said poet(s). Option #2: Send a copy (or photocopy) of an article about a poet to two partners. You can find them in magazines, journals, online, in your local newspaper, etc. Your envelope should also contain at least two poems of your own choosing. Be sure to cite all sources! Option #3: Send a volume of poetry to two partners. This can be in the form of a book, chapbook, booklet, zine, etc. But it must be bound and printed material; no loose pages. The three options allow you to choose what you're most comfortable with and will help you control postage costs (since there's a difference between mailing a letter and mailing a book). Pick one of the options and send to your partners. (Yes, overachievers may do a combination if they'd like.) Snail mail. International. Group membership. SPECIAL NOTE:Post below if you like the "you choose options" and are interested in seeing other swaps set up this way. |
