Description:

For this fun and cute swap, create or decorate one 32-count matchbox (2 x 1.5 x .5 inches) in any way that has to do with dessert, and fill it full of tiny dessert-themed items. You can include cute kawaii-style food goodies, but this swap is not limited to kawaii. Any dessert is fair game: cake, candy, ice cream, cupcakes, pie, fruit, milkshakes, cookies, popsicles... any dessert you can dream of!

I know it can be hard to find enough items of a specific theme to completely fill a matchbox, so there can be some freedom on what you include inside the matchbox. If some things simply follow a candy-coated color theme, that is fine. Just think delicious and cute!

If you want to create your matchbox from scratch, I have a free downloadable PDF template that you can use here. You can also view lots of examples of matchboxes on my Flickr Swap-bot set.

We each have just one partner and you have plenty of time to create your matchbox and get it mailed. The swap is international and all group members are welcome.

Happy cute swapping everyone! xoxo

p.s. I DO angel my swaps. Two weeks after the send deadline, if you have NOT received and you HAVE rated your partner honestly with a 1, contact me and I will send out an angel package. Great!

Wish I could join but not going to spend $ 6 to send internationally. Too bad the rates when sky high...sticking to usa for now.

I know. International shipping is extreme! My small bubble envelopes cost about $12 to mail. ugh. BUT I love swapping with people from all over the world!

I appreciate the cost involved and realise its gonna be a problem for some. Its lovely to be able to swap world wide. I wonder if we sent the matchboxes flat and the receiver popped them into shape. Only paper or card filler?

I prefer to be in USA/Canada and hope someone will host for USA/Canada because I can't afford the high postage for just small item.
