International Edited to extend the send date a bit I'm going to run this one during the same time as the other since it's somewhat different. I thought that people might want to showcase their own city for this. So this swap is a matchbox celebrating your own city, wherever it might be. You can give your partner a taste of your home and show him/her some things that represent it. For the swap, decorate a large, 250 count matchbox and fill it in the theme of your city. It's a larger matchbox for this one since you're more likely to be able to find some great things representing your city that won't fit in a smaller matchbox. Ideas include:
There are so many more ideas you can use. Have fun with it! And if there's anything in there that might not be obvious, explain to your partner. For instance, the nickname of my city is "The Lilac City," so I could send lilac themed items and explain why. Nitty Gritty details:
Note: I tend to like to assign partners either after midnight on the appropriate day or early in the morning (sometimes later. Depends on how chaotic life is being). This means that those who need to pm me or fill out their profiles well need to have it done by then or you'll be banned. I hate to ban people, but let's follow the rules, okay? I do also reserve the right to ban people who I think might be disruptive or a problem, so be warned there as well. If I've seen past behaviour that I find unacceptable, like spiteful rating and the like, you're out. Some things I just won't put up with. |
