Goodie Bag Swap #1 (6x1) USA

I'm sorry, could you please explain what a goodie bag is?

Goodie bags are envelopes or bags that you pass around until they are ready to be sent home to the person it was made for. Each person takes 1 or more goodies to keep for themselves (according to the instructions on the bag), and adds 2 or more goodies. The goodies you put in there vary. Stickers, pretty paper scraps, ephemera, brads, memo sheets, images, etc. Basically whatever fits, and that you think the owner will enjoy crafting with. Usually you add a label as well so the receiver can make you a goodie bag when it gets home. When you're done you sign out and date somewhere on the bag, and send on to the next person. Usually there are 5 to 8 signers before it needs to be sent home. Hope that explanation helps =)! They're a lot of fun to do!

Can you clarify? What do we start with? Is 6x1 the size?

@ginnyocity You will send 6 different bags to one person. If you are new to this, that means you will have to create 6 bags. Sometimes they are the size of a regular ziploc bag, small or large envelope, and other times they are the size of a paper lunch bag or treat bag folded over. I recommend starting bags with 6-10 items in them. They can be filled with anything used in swapping, journaling, scrapbooking, ATC work, smashbooks, stickers, or really anything you see on swap-bot. The bags continue to be moved along during the next Goodie Bag swap, and "homers" are filled with signers and ready to be sent home. If you are really interested in trying this, I can mail you a sample bag or two to help get you started. I hope this helps. :)
